SCRL Track League 3rd June Round 6

Looking out the window at the gloom and damp and comparing this with a forecast of dry and sunny spells for the later afternoon and evening makes issuing a race programme an act of faith.

Thus we now see entries open for Round 6 of the League with an almost conventional programme taking place, though with a couple of variations, if we are allowed to race by the powers of the weather.

We will call the racing by 16:00 hours, so watch our channels (website, email, WhatsApp) where we will post, on all, our intentions on whether we can race or not.

Results are not officially up from last week as we await the return of our Chair, Freddie Hick, from a well earned family holiday as no one else is yet trained up for this technical procedure. It might be we can get something out to reflect the League positions before the evening.

Racing started last week, unconventionally, with Youths and we may return to this in the future but, with the implied later finish times for them we will hang on to nearer the school holidays. So, Senior Cs please be ready to kick off proceedings which follow a programme of Scratch, Points, Hare and Hounds (a combined Youth race with a prize lottery for two randomly selected riders), Dash (Seniors only) and two Unknowns. The first Unknown is Senior Cs, the second Senior As. Senior Bs can chose which race to join, but note, the two £10 primes will be in the Senior A race only.
