Join us for the 2025 Vern McClelland Omnium — a full day of exciting racing celebrating a cornerstone of Sussex cycling. Whether you're a seasoned track racer or just finishing your first league season, this is the event to mark on your calendar.

🏁 Race Format
Each rider will compete in four omnium-style events, with points accumulated across all races:
Scratch
Elimination
Tempo
Points
Prizes will be awarded based on total points across all four events.
🧑🤝🧑 Categories
Final race categories will be confirmed after entries close and will be based on rider numbers. Possible groupings include:
Option 1:
Senior A/B
Senior C / Youth Major
Ladies
Youth Minor
Option 2:
Senior A
Senior B
Senior C
Youth Minor
We aim to create the most competitive and inclusive race experience possible, so riders will be grouped accordingly.

On-the-day race prizes for all categories
2025 Track League Awards will be presented after racing concludes
A full prize list will be confirmed on race day.

Entry is online only
Deadline: Friday 23rd August
Bike Hire: Free for accredited riders
Accreditation required: Riders must be SCRL accredited and hold a valid British Cycling race license
